Earlier this week at its CES press conference, Sony introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z, which boasts a 5-inch 1080p “Reality Display,” Snapdragon’s powerful 1.5GHz quad-core S4 processor, a 13-megapixel camera, NFC capabilities, and Android 4.1 Jellybean.

As per Sony Xperia will be launched in Q1 2013 World Wide.

The Sony Xperia Z will get a UK release date on February 27, according to Expansys.

Xperia Z will make its debut in UK through O2 in February and through Phones 4U in March. Now, according to the latest info, the smartphone will also arrive in Australia during the following months, in March to be more precise.
Apparently, in Australia the Sony Xperia Z will first be released by Telstra, shortly followed by Vodafone and Optus

Sony hasn’t announced a price for the Xperia Z but it will cost around £520 SIM-free. Prices online at smartphone retailers vary as follows.

Amazon.de puts up the Sony Xperia Z for pre-order  649 Euro (approximately 867 US Dollar).
