How to Integrate Google AdSense to Your Blog
Been writing or hosting a blog for a while now? Ready to make some money from it? The simplest solution and your first choice might be AdSense. AdSense is Google’s content-targeted advertising program. It posts selected ads to your blog. All you have to do is just add AdSense extension widget to your blog and you will start earning money. If you use AdSense, you don’t have to select keywords or categories for your ads. Instead, Google’s servers determine what your posts are about and display the most relevant ads to your readers. For example, if you blog about baseball, you might see ads for “Major League Baseball memorabilia” next to your post. If you blog about painting, you might see ads for “Art Supplies.”
Here are some simple steps to start earning with AdSense.
Log in to your blogger dashboard and select the blog account on which you want to use AdSense (Select the one with more audience to earn some handsome amount).
On the next Screen you will find an option for signing up with google. Click that. Optionally you might want to check “Why it works” or “features” right below the signup dialog box.
On the next step select “Yes, Proceed to google account Sign in” or create a new google account if you want to. Creating a new account will be same as creating a regular google account, nothing new.
Now remember that you really have to be patient about this. Ads will not appear on your blog until your application has been approved. Once you receive approval confirmation, google will start posting relevant ads on your blogs and number of clicks on them will start earning you money.
You can control the ways the ads show up on your blog through the settings on the Earnings tab at any time. It’s up to you whether or not to show ads, and where on your blog to display those ads (sidebar and posts, just sidebar, or just posts) if you’re using Traditional templates.
After your account is approved (let me tell you, you’re a lucky person), go back to your blogger dashboard and click the option “Layout” like shown in figure below.
Click Add a Gadget and from the window that pops up, select AdSense.
Now all you need to do is configure your Adsense Ads, Chose the color, size and then save it. You are all done. Ooops! How will you get paid? I almost forget to mention, be very careful filling “Payee Name” and “address” in form because that’s where you’ll get your money.
